In the beautiful Heihorsten of Someren are our 4 fishing ponds where you can fish for catfish, carp, and sturgeon.
Fishing equipment such as rods, bait, and unhooking mats are available for rent. There is ample parking and you can enjoy a nice snack or drink in our pavilion. Camping is available upon request.
You do not need a fishing license if you wish to fish with us.
We are open
- July/August from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- September to June Wednesday to Sunday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- December 25, 26, 31, and January 1 we are closed

What to do?
Fishing, relaxing, and staying overnight at the fishing ponds in Someren (Heihorsten)
In the beautiful nature reserve De Heihorsten in Someren, you will find four attractively designed fishing ponds where you can fish for European catfish, carp, and sturgeon. The ponds are suitable for both beginner and experienced anglers and offer a peaceful, natural environment for a complete day out or a longer fishing session.
You can use your own equipment or rent a rod including a landing net. At most ponds, you fish with one rod per person; two rods are allowed at the carp ponds. There are also options for night fishing and overnight stays at the pond.
Besides fishing, you can visit the cozy pavilion with a covered terrace, where you can enjoy snacks, drinks, and simple dishes. For a longer stay, camping with a camper, caravan, or tent is possible on the estate.
